2011 Woodbury County Fair

Thank you for visiting the Woodbury Country Fair website. Please make plans to join us for the 82nd  Annual Woodbury County Fair in Moville, IA.  Each year nearly 50,000 visitors take part in our fair over the 5-day event.  Last year, there were 2,150 projects exhibited by 4-H youth and 1,759 Open Class exhibits.  Over 100 commercial exhibitors have interactive displays either in the air-conditioned Varied Industries Building, or outdoors for fair-goers to see.  Dozens of food vendors will sell everything from kettle popcorn and blooming onions to homemade pies and ice cream.  The grandstand will be packed each night with crowd-pleasing events like the demo derby, tractor pull and rodeo.  Freestage entertainment will include nearly 20 shows featuring local and regional entertainers, as well as new contests like a pie eating contest and Red Hat contest.  Family entertainment and fun can be found close to home at the Woodbury County Fair.
